After spending the morning researching and visiting our sites, 9 of us headed north to visit the Maxxi Museum. I was very excited to see that in addition to the Le Corbusier exhibit, they also had a William Kentridge show going on.
The building is very different than any of the others we have visited thus far- which was a nice change of pace.
After working our way through the Piazza del Popolo and the Carnival Festivities, we decided to cook as a group! We decided to try the “Recipe of the Week” from Accent, which was a vegetarian pasta, and make a little Bruschetta to go with….
The food turned out really well for our first attempt at cooking all together. Can’t wait to try a new recipe next week!
So great that MAXXI has a Kentridge show on as well. Rachel gets extra points for the South African artist shout-out!
