We have started our entire layout. It’s a mind bending idea to smoosh the city of Rome into a drawable scale. We’re in the process, lots of silly misunderstandings in math and scale; but we’re working it out. Below is our overall Autocad map of all 6 sites within Rome. It extends from St. Peter’s Basilica to the far side of the Colosseum and possibly links to the Basilica of St. John Lateran. It’s going to be really big…above left is just my section – the red roads depict existing vehicular roadways, yellow is the Via Papalis, the old road connecting St. John’s and St. Peter’s Basilica. The highlighted portions are structures or ruins that we will include. Everyone’s styles will come together in different ways… it’s going to be an interesting 4 weeks!
