We had a quick review with Ozayr Tuesday night, pretty much asking him questions until the Accent building kicked us out…well after close. Next morning we get up crack-o-7:00 and make way to the Vatican Museum. Exceptionally ornate, detailed and historic on so many levels. Inside its a whirl wind of carvings, marble, stones, tiles, questions come up…like “who is the curator?” and “how to you plan for this amount of statuary in one setting, this well!?” I am going to be honest and say that for me, it was over stimulating to go through it all in one morning. The contemporary section gave me respite in times of golden gilded melancholy. It was an intense day packed into a few hours.
